Hello everyone, I am desperately trying to find this game, pretty soon it will be the only oddity I will be missing for "the wall", please let me know if there is some miracle chance someone wants to sell a copy, this website is the only place I have heard of where people actually own this game

P.S. as soon as I get my camera back, pics and details of custom shelves will follow, promise!

Jared

I haven't seen a complete one since Darth Vader on DP sold his complete collection on ebay a year or 2 ago. As for a cart only, Just keep watching ebay, they pop up sometimes, and look to be in the $250-$350 range.

Was that Dp collection the one with all 720 games, (missing iss, issd) and a sealed copy of MBR/SR?, I think that was march of 07?, I watched that auction!, that was the only copy of MBR/SR I ever saw, I think he listed the collection for 15K then relisted for 12K, did he actually sell it?

yup, that's the collection, and yes I think he sold it for around 11k. He also had another auction with doubles and he had a copy of MBR/SR in there too. Looking back I should have bought the doubles lot. He got them the same place that everyone else who has a sealed copy got theirs. Nintendo Garage sale several years ago. The cart only copies are usually from people who had the bike itself, or from old fitness centers that had the bike.

Oops, I was reading it in the Finders Keepers section and he said he has Mountain Bike Rally without Speed Racer.

I don't know like anything about this game just thought I'd point it out.

You can go check it out.

For some reason, something makes me think that this is going to be one of those titles that somebody will find a palette full of sealed copies in a warehouse or something.

that stash was already found. it was about 10-20 copies, came from the nintendo Garage sale. That's where the sealed ones came from.

Not anymore. I even once contacted Life Fitness when I ordered some gym equipment and decided to ask them about the Exertainment games for the heck of it and they unbelievably knew about MBR but not about MBR/SR. They said that they quit making the games because of poor sales of the system and most likely only about 50 MBR/SR games exist if they had to estimate.

Old aunts used to come up to me at weddings, poking me in the ribs and cackling, telling me, "You're next." They stopped after I started doing the same thing to them at funerals.

I knew MBR/SR was pretty darn rare from the first time I even heard of it (DP's online rarity guide, probably 2003...it was still in PDF format back then). It wasn't a game I'd ever seen or heard of, not to mention its apparent late release. Back then, though, I believe the DP guide said its rarity was 8. I own MBR (without SR), myself...at one point, I had 3 copies of it o_O . Fun bike-racing game, I think.
